In most cases, glass verandas, Louvre Pods, and garden glass rooms do not require planning permission, unlike more extensive home extensions.
From our experience, the majority of our structures fall outside the need for planning approval. However, our design and technical team has extensive experience with planning regulations and offers a complimentary planning
service.
If a planning application is necessary, a fee—usually around £180—is payable to local authorities.
Certain properties, such as apartments, flats, maisonettes, listed buildings, or homes located in conservation areas, will require planning permission for a glass veranda.
