In this project, we installed a bespoke pergola to cover a recently renovated raised patio, providing the perfect transition from an existing extension through bi-fold doors. Designed to match the home’s aesthetic while offering protection from wind and cold, this pergola enhances the space for year-round use.
The client wanted a pergola that would seamlessly integrate with the design of their home while addressing functional needs such as heat retention and wind protection.
We installed a B250 pergola with rotating louvres in anthracite grey, ensuring it matched the home’s modern aesthetic. The B250 model was selected for its ability to close louvres tightly onto the gutters, offering enhanced heat retention for colder days.
To reduce wind from the open garden, we added two dark grey automated screens to the open sides. Colour-matched frame-mounted heaters were installed, creating a warm and cosy environment that could be enjoyed even in cooler weather.
To ensure the space was well-lit for evening use, we integrated white LED louvre lights and frame-mounted spotlights. These additions provided practical illumination while enhancing the pergola’s sleek appearance, making it the perfect complement to the raised patio.
