For this project in Cheshire, we were asked to design and install a large bespoke pergola that would provide year-round usability while complementing the home’s exterior. With careful planning and custom detailing, the finished pergola has transformed the patio into a flexible and stylish outdoor living space.

The client wanted a large, practical pergola that would not only provide shade and shelter but also feel like a natural extension of the home.
To achieve this, we installed a bespoke aluminium pergola with a white rotating louvred roof that brightens the patio while providing flexible control over sunlight and shade. The anthracite grey frame matched the home’s contemporary style perfectly.
Automated screens on the larger sides ensured that the pergola could be closed down when required, providing privacy, wind protection, and added warmth. To make access seamless, we incorporated two additional legs to create separate doorways, with each screened independently.
Louvre lighting was integrated for stylish evening use, and bespoke flashings were added to connect the pergola neatly to the property.
The completed pergola has created a versatile outdoor room that can be used for dining, relaxing, and entertaining throughout the year. Its thoughtful design – from the dual access doors to the integrated lighting – ensures that the space feels both highly functional and visually cohesive with the property.
