For this project in Lincolnshire, we designed and installed a custom B200XL pergola to enhance the outdoor space of a modern glass-fronted home. By addressing solar gain and creating a functional patio area, we provided the perfect solution for year-round outdoor living.
The client needed a pergola that complemented their home’s contemporary design while addressing practical concerns. Excess solar gain made the glass-fronted property too warm at times, and they wanted a shaded, all-weather patio space for year-round use.
We installed a B200XL single pergola in anthracite grey, matching the existing window and door frames to ensure a cohesive appearance. Quartz grey louvres introduced a subtle contrast, adding to the overall aesthetic. The height was carefully tailored to 2.75m to fit seamlessly beneath the existing glass doors without obstructing their function.
For maximum usability, the pergola was fitted with two colour-matched, frame-mounted heaters to keep the patio warm during cooler months. Integrated white LED louvre lights provided stylish illumination, allowing the space to be enjoyed long into the evening.
