Transforming a Contemporary Space with a B200 Pergola – Our recent project showcases how a custom-designed pergola can seamlessly enhance a newly built home. For this installation, we delivered a practical yet stylish outdoor living room, creating a space that can be enjoyed all year round.
The client’s vision was to add an outdoor living room that complemented their modern home and provided flexibility for use in all seasons. By opting for a B200 pergola, we ensured that the entire area was covered with a single roof, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted design.
The anthracite grey frame matched the home’s contemporary aesthetic, while the white louvres maximised natural light under the pergola—even with the roof closed. Integrated LED lights enhanced the space for use after sunset, creating a welcoming ambience.
To meet the client’s needs for privacy and adaptability, three automated and retractable woven fibre glass side screens in linen colour were installed. These allow the space to transition effortlessly between a sheltered, room-like environment and an open patio area. Additionally for convenience and protection of the screens and space below during inclement weather.
The pergola’s app connectivity gives the client full control of its features, including the screens, lights, and louvres, all from their smartphone. Additionally, the wind and rain sensor provides peace of mind, automatically retracting the screens in extreme weather to prevent damage.
