This Oxfordshire project was designed to create a generous outdoor dining area directly outside the client’s kitchen, allowing family and friends to enjoy alfresco dining throughout the year. The clean white finish, double roof design and integrated screens combine to create a light, elegant space that feels like a natural extension of the home.

The client wanted to extend their kitchen into the garden by creating a practical and elegant outdoor dining space that could be enjoyed in all seasons.
We designed a 7.6m double roof B200 XL pergola finished entirely in white (RAL 9016). The crisp white frame and rotating louvres complement the architecture of the property while helping reflect natural light back towards the kitchen, maintaining a bright and open feel.
Three motorised retractable screens were positioned along the garden-facing sides, allowing the space to remain open during warm weather or enclosed for protection from wind and low sun. Integrated louvre lighting across both roof sections creates a welcoming atmosphere after dark, while the wind and rain sensors provide automatic weather protection.
To achieve a fully integrated appearance, bespoke flashing was designed around the adjacent gutter, ensuring a clean, weatherproof connection between the pergola and the house.
The completed pergola creates a stylish outdoor dining room that feels like a natural continuation of the kitchen. The bright white finish, automated screens and integrated lighting allow the space to be enjoyed from morning coffee through to evening entertaining, whatever the weather.
