In this project, we transformed the outdoor space of a sleek, modern glass-fronted home with a bespoke pergola. Designed to reduce solar gain and provide a comfortable year-round patio area, the pergola seamlessly complemented the property’s contemporary style.
The client needed a solution that addressed excessive solar gain of a glass fronted home while ensuring their patio area was usable in all seasons. We selected a B200XL single pergola in anthracite grey to match the home’s window and door frames, ensuring the installation blended seamlessly with the property’s aesthetic.
Our bespoke approach included specifying the pergola height at 2.75m, allowing it to fit perfectly beneath the existing glass doors without obstructing their function or views.
To create a versatile space, the pergola was equipped with five integrated LED louvre lights, providing excellent illumination for evening use. Two colour-matched, frame-mounted heaters were also installed to maintain warmth, making the patio inviting regardless of the weather.
The pergola’s clean lines and contemporary design enhanced the property’s overall look, blending form and function to create a stylish outdoor living space.
