A Stunning Outdoor Structure for Dining and Entertaining
This project features one of the largest custom pergolas we’ve created, designed to cover a spacious dining and kitchen area on a large patio. With its bespoke design, wall-mounted features, and modern aesthetics, this pergola perfectly balances functionality and style.
The client’s large patio space required a pergola that could accommodate both a dining and kitchen area while addressing specific structural needs, such as custom leg placements and one corner without a leg.
Bespoke Structural Design:
A double B200XL pergola was chosen for its ability to be customised to the client’s unique requirements. The pergola was wall-mounted on one side to eliminate the need for a leg in one corner, while other legs were carefully measured to either terminate on the dwarf wall or extend to the ground.
Light and Aesthetic Appeal:
The white rotating louvres ensured that the space beneath the pergola remained bright even when the roof was closed. The anthracite grey frame provided a modern contrast to the white louvres, perfectly complementing the client’s home and patio design.
Privacy and Comfort Features:
An automated light grey screen was installed on the open side of the pergola, offering both privacy and wind reduction for the dining and kitchen areas.
Integrated Lighting:
White LED louvre lights were incorporated into the design, providing ample illumination as daylight fades and enhancing the pergola’s sleek aesthetic.
