How We Met the Brief
The client’s newly remodeled garden featured a patio accessed via large bifold doors from the kitchen diner. The challenge was to add a pergola that extended the living space outdoors while maintaining natural light and openness in the indoor area.
Bespoke Design for Light and Versatility:
We installed a B600S pergola, which offers the ultimate flexibility with its rotating and retracting louvres. The S-shaped louvres slide together compactly, leaving only 13% of the roof surface covered when fully open. This design ensures maximum natural light flows into the kitchen diner, even on cloudy days, while providing complete coverage when needed for shade or rain protection.
All-Weather Usability:
- Automated Screens: Grey screens on the front and side aspects provide privacy, reduce wind, and enhance comfort.
- Integrated Heating: Four 1.5kW heaters mounted to the frame deliver warmth, allowing the space to be used comfortably even in cooler months.
