The client’s brief was clear: cover the sunken hot tub for comfort and privacy, and add a covered dining space alongside it — all while maintaining an open, contemporary aesthetic.
We designed a double-roofed B200XL pergola, allowing each section to operate independently. The roof louvres can open or close to control sunlight and ventilation, giving maximum flexibility for both spaces.
The anthracite grey frame and roof create a bold, modern structure that complements the garden design, while automated screens provide privacy and shelter from the wind around the hot tub.
For comfort and ambience, we installed colour-matched heaters and LED spotlights in the frame, making the area inviting day and night, no matter the weather.
