A Flexible Outdoor Room for All-Weather Use
This project transformed the area adjacent to an existing conservatory into a multi-functional outdoor room. By installing a bespoke pergola with a retracting and rotating roof, the space can now be used as a cosy furnished room or an open outdoor area, offering flexibility and comfort year-round.
The clients needed a structure that seamlessly extended their conservatory, matching its design while providing the functionality of an outdoor room.
Harmonious Design and Natural Light:
We installed a B600 pergola with a white frame and louvres that perfectly matched the conservatory’s existing windows and design. The white colour ensures the space feels light and airy, maintaining a bright and inviting atmosphere.
Flexible Use with a Retracting Roof:
The pergola’s rotating and retracting louvred roof offers maximum versatility. It allows the space to be fully enclosed when desired or opened up to enjoy the outdoors.
Privacy and Comfort:
Light-coloured automated screens were added to enclose the open sides, providing privacy and reducing wind exposure for a more comfortable environment. A frame-mounted heater in white adds warmth, ensuring the space can be enjoyed even in cooler weather.
This pergola seamlessly integrates with the existing conservatory, creating a functional and stylish outdoor room. Whether used for relaxing, dining, or entertaining, the space adapts to the clients’ needs, enhancing their outdoor living experience.
